My love affair with gemstones and crystals started many moons ago, back when I lived in Washington DC and had a part-time job at a jewelry store while in university. That was when I had the fortune of meeting my first wholesale supplier, a man from China by the name of Peter Sun, who also taught me how to bead. I launched my own collection soon after that. Many years later, after marrying and becoming a mom of three beautiful daughters, I started my second collection in Miami. Little did I know this would be my saving grace, helping me provide for them after my husband passed, and I put myself through school to reinvent myself all over again. Now, twenty years later I’m launching my third collection!
The common denominator in my pieces is the element of balance. What characterizes each piece is that they are one of a kind, for I do not duplicate them. I feel each one comes with its own inspiration and I pour a lot of love into them. It’s usually love at first sight when someone gets magnetized by a piece that they simply must have. I believe the reason is not just the design itself but the energy of balance, the spirit from the stones, and the process involved in my infusion of love and wisdom into them.
